Brief History: Born in Trenton, New Jersey, on July 17th in 1997 to two Polish immigrants, Dima Nowak was pretty much a quiet child. He did his homework, he came home before his curfew, he even held the door open for women and the elderly. He was, essentially, a parent's dream child. They wanted him to go to college, they wanted him to get married and have kids. Well, that's where he really let them down. After he graduated from High School, instead of going off to college like the good kids did, he went off to New York to... become a musician.
For his first two years, Dima did nothing but work on his music and work for rent money. He practised playing guitar as often as possible, and even took some classes when he could afford them. He worked long shifts at his factory job for his rent (and occasional classes). Needless to say, after 730 days of workworkwork, Dima was tired of it. He quit his job and tried to find work with his guitar. There were a few jobs here and there, play guitar for the backup band of so-and-so, pick up an acoustic and sing to these people while they eat this, but nothing major. Dima was far too stubborn to be discouraged, and his continuing failure only made him work harder.
After landing a part as a guitarist in a band called "Odelay", a year later, Dima picked up a job and moved in with the drummer, a very pretty blonde named Jennifer. Things between them didn't work, things with Odelay didn't work out, and so Dima was left looking for an apartment with another boring regular-joe job.
A few more bands came and went, as well as a few more jobs and apartments, and in February of 2021, Dima landed his current residence and job. The job wasn't anything too impressive, just a bartender in Brooklyn. It's far from home, which is in the Bronx, but he enjoys the work and it pays pretty well. He's currently looking for another band, and he's feeling pretty good about a flyer he saw posted up at work.
